Crafted from Frappato 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards monte Foscarino - Monteforte d'Alpone e Soave (Vr); 150 metri above sea level, with an exposure to South, South-West. Vinification: short maceration, cold decantation of the must for 12 hours, fermentation in high-toasted barriques (30% first-pass ones). The wine is aged 12 months in vitrified cement. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
