'Griddu Verde' Dos Tierras Badalucco

This distinctive wine from Sicily embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Verdejo, Grillo, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from an old vines in Contrada Tiglia on the sea. Vinification: the Grillo is harvested in 3 different harvests and the Verdejo is harvested with a low sugar concentration. It is pressed with the feet and fermented with indigenous yeasts with maceration on the skins for 5-10 days. The wine is aged from 6 to 12 months in barrique and tonneau. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
