This Sicilia DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Nero d'Avola and a small part of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and other grapes, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the south-east of Sicily from Contessa Entellina estate. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 10 days. The wine is aged 8 months in steel and 5 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
