L'Ardenza Cottanera

Hailing from Sicily, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Mondeuse 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards case Alte - Castiglione di Sicilia (Ct); 700 meters above sea level with a Northern exposure. Vinification: maceration and fermentation with "délestage" (extraction of juice from the skins and subsequent re-immersion to enhance the extraction of aromatic compounds and reduce the astringency in wine). The wine is aged at least 12 months in French barriques. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
