A fine example of Sardinia winemaking, this Monica di Sardegna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Monica and small part of Bovale and Carignano, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the area S'Elegas in Guamaggiore, on clay and limestone soil, mediterrean climate. Vinification: fermentation at controlled temperature of 27°-28°C for 8-10 days. The wine is aged 7 months in barrique. A wine capturing Sardinia's Mediterranean character and maritime influence.
