This Montefalco DOC captures the distinctive personality of Umbria terroir. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 70%, Sagrantino 15%, Barbera 5%, Merlot 5%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a clayey and calcareous soil at 230 m above sea level, faced to South East. Vinification: destemming, pressing, fermentation on the skins in steel tanks for 15 days and maceration for other 4-5 days. The wine is aged 18 months in steel tanks and 12 months in oak barrels. A wine reflecting Umbria's hillside terroir at the heart of Italy.
