Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old vines of Etna with more than 70 years old, selected from Campo re cru, situated at 735 metres of altitude over the sea. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with authoctone yeasts with contact with the skins for 60 days. The wine is aged some months in neutral resin vats of 1500 or 2500 litres. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
