Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Contrada Zottorino in Chiusa Spagnola cru, 80 years old vines at 620 metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts with skins maceration for 60 days. Not clarified. The wine is aged few months in neutral resin vats of 1500-2500 litres.
