Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old ungrafted sapling vines that are more than 60 years old, from the vineyards called Chiusa Spagnolo, Monte Colla, Porcaria, Crasa, Piano Daini in the Etna's noth slope. Vinification: fermentation with indigenous yeats in fiberglass tanks. The wine is aged 18 months in fiberglass tanks. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
