This distinctive wine from Sicily embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old vines from Etna with more than 90 years old, selected from Tartaraci, Pettinociarelle and Monte Dolce cru, situated at 1.000, 890 e 870 metres bove sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with authoctone yeasts with contact with the skins for 60 days. The wine is aged some months in neutral resin vats of 1500 or 2500 litres. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
