A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Colline Novaresi DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Nebbiolo 85%, Vespolina 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in the Traversagna region, in the municipalities of Boca and Prato Sesia, on rocky and porphyritic soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for 7-9 days in steel tanks. The wine is aged 8 months in 25 hectolitre oak barrels. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
