Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese, with small percentage of Nerello Cappuccio , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards ungrafted centenary vines on volcanic soil at an altitude of 650 meters from Contrada Feudo di Mezzo. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. Without added sulphite and without filtrations. The wine is aged 18 months in big and small used oak barrels. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
