Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. With 12% alcohol, it delivers elegance and finesse. Crafted from Nero d'Avola 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at an altitude of 270 m. above sea level, on a medium consistency, about vine at least 35 years old. Vinification: exclusive indigenous yeast, macerated on the skins for 40 days. The wine is aged 16 months in oak casks, then 6 months in bottle. No filtration. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
