Crafted from Sangiovese 95%, Canaiolo 3%, Ciliegiolo 2% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines from 10 to 38 years of age on Siena tuff, sand and clay. Vinification: fermentazione alcolica con lieviti indigeni con macerazione delle bucce di 6 settimane. The wine is aged 14 months in second hand Allier oak barrels of 5, 17 and 25 hectoliters.
