Crafted from Pinot Nero 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards predominantly marlstone soils interspersed with Alberese stone banks at 650 metres altitude. Vinification: in steel vats with 25% whole bunches with only light pumping over. The wine is aged approximately 6 months in cement vats and a small part in second passage tonneaux.
