Tasting Notes

This Sicilia DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Nero d'Avola, Syrah, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect vibrant red-fruit notes and a refreshing, food-friendly finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Risinata, at 200 meters above sea level on clayey soils rich in organic substance, and Monte Cirami, at 411 meters above sea level on dark surface soil with deep layers of limestone, stones, sand, silt and clay. Vinification: extraction from must up to the right color, fermentation in steel tanks for 15 days. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
