Crafted from Merlot, Alicante, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old vineyards at 350 metres above sea level on hilly soils. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wood vats, skin maceration for 6 days with daily manual pressing and aged in old oak barrels before bottling. The wine is aged few months in old wood vats. A wine true to Umbria's centuries-old winemaking heritage.
