A fine example of Tuscany winemaking, this Rosso di Montepulciano DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 80%, Merlot 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a clayey sandy soil at 220-300 metres above sea level. Vinification: fermentation on the skins in steel tanks for 10-12 days. The wine is aged 8 months in steel tanks and, for over the 20%, in big oak barrels. A wine reflecting Tuscany's renowned terroir with elegant tannin structure and aging potential.
From the rolling hills of Chianti to the coastal Maremma, Tuscany's diverse terroir produces wines of exceptional character and aging potential.
