This exceptional Sicilia DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. With 15% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nero d’Avola 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines that are 21 years old of average age, faced to South and South-East at 350 m above sea level from Tenuta San Giacomo in the Butera area, near to Caltanisetta. Vinification: destemming, maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks for 10-15 days, malolactic fermentation in big oak barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in big oak barrels. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
