Crafted from Ciliegiolo, Aleatico and other red grapes, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 70 years old vines grown in one hectare on the Lucchesi hills with clayey and calcareous marl soil. Biodynamic agricolture. Vinification: crushing with the feet and manual punching down. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel with maceration on the skins for 7 days. Total sulfites 35 mg/l. The wine is aged 6 months in steel and cement. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
