Hailing from Sicily, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 85%, Minella Nera, Alicante, Bouschet and Minella Bianco 15% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines of over 50 years terraced on volcanic soils in contrade Picciolo Malpasso, Campio Re, Crasà, Piano Daini and Feudo di Mezzo. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass tanks with maceration on the skins for 60 days. The wine is aged some months in neutral fiberglass tanks. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
