A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Sicilia DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nero d'Avola and a small part of Perricone, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. Vinification: cold pre-fermentation maceration for 1 or 2 days and alcoholic fermentation in steel vertical fermenters for 3 weeks. The wine is aged 24 months in barrique and a small part only in steel. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
