This Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG stands as a benchmark for Umbria's highest quality classification. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from vigna Monticchio of Tenuta Torgiano, at 300 metres of altitude and with west exposure. Vinification: fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 25-28 days. The wine is aged 12 months in wood barrels and more than 5 years in bottle.
