A fine example of Valle d'Aosta winemaking, this Valle d'Aosta DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Petit Rouge (80%), Cornalin (10%), Fumin (5%) and other local red grape varieties (5%), this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on the hills of Aosta, at a height of 590 meters above sea level, with steep slopes facing south. Vinification: second fermentation in bottle according to Classic Method. The wine is aged 10 months in big oak barrels and at least 4 in bottle. A wine reflecting the extreme high-altitude terroir of the Valle d'Aosta.
Extreme alpine terroir gives Valle d'Aosta wines a rare, mountain-driven purity.
