Hailing from Sicily, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Nero d’Avola 40%, Corinto 40%, Alicante 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards sapling vines in a sandy volcanic soil at 350 metres above sea level, in the Lipari island. Vinification: destemming, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 12 months in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
Sicilian producers blend indigenous grapes with international varieties, reflecting the island's rich cultural mix.
