Hailing from Umbria, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. With 11% alcohol, it delivers elegance and finesse. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It shows a delicate pale hue with fresh red-berry aromas and a crisp finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located at 300 m above sea level on sedimentary soils, with the presence of marine fossils, pebbles and limestone agglomerates. Vinification: manual harvesting and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged a few months in steel tanks. A wine true to Umbria's centuries-old winemaking heritage.
Umbria is home to Sagrantino di Montefalco, one of Italy's most tannic and age-worthy reds.
