This Menfi DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Cabernet Franc 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines planted in 2000 in Piano del Sommacco on an area of 5 hectares. Earth composition: clay 56%, silt 22% and sand 32%. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in barrique, tonneaux, steel and complete malolactic fermentation in barrique. The wine is aged some months in barrique (75% new and 25% aged). A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
