A fine example of Sardinia winemaking, this Cannonau di Sardegna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Cannonau 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on shallow soils consisting of deposits of aeolian sands placed on marly carbonate crusts. Vinification: manual harvesting, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged 6 months in steel vats and 2 months in bottle. A wine capturing Sardinia's Mediterranean character and maritime influence.
