A fine example of Sardinia winemaking, this Cannonau di Sardegna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Cannonau 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards screws sapling rooted in sandy soils full of limestoneand clay, in the center of Sardinia. Vinification: maceration for at least 10-15 days. The wine is aged at least 6 months in cement tanks and barrique, other 3 months in bottle. A wine showing the sun-baked intensity typical of Sardinian vineyards.
