A fine example of Sardinia winemaking, this Cannonau di Sardegna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Cannonau 90%, 10% other local red grapes, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines raised in counter-espalier system at an altitude of 200 meters on volcanic soil. Vinification: pressing, alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins for 10-15 days and soft pressing. The wine is aged 12 months between barrels and tonneaux of first and second passage. A wine reflecting the island's ancient indigenous grape heritage.
