Crafted from Chardonnay 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards contrada Ulmo di Sambuca di Sicilia from vines planted in 1985 on soils with 62% clay, 29% silt and 9% sand. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in barrique and malolactic fermentation at 40%. The wine is aged 10 months in barrique. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
