Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Riserva Moschioni

This exceptional Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC showcases the authentic character of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards between Cividale del Friuli and Prepotto, facing South-East, at an altitude of 140 meters above sea level and on clayey soil. Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 19°C with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 12 months in French barriques, 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels, other 12 months in wooden barrels and at least 12 months in bottle. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
