A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pignolo, Schioppettino, Refosco, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Vinification: fermentation for every single type of grape with indigenous yeasts, then maceration for 15-25 days. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels, 12 months in barrel 20 and 30 hl, 12 months in steel, then at least 6 months in bottle. A wine reflecting Friuli's reputation for aromatic precision and minerality.
Cool alpine breezes and diverse soils give Friuli's wines their trademark aromatic precision.
