Refosco Riserva Aquila del Torre

A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from vines of 20 years located at 175-350 meters of altitude on hilly terrain of marls and clay surrounded by woods. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wood. Malolactic fermentaion in concrete vats. The wine is aged 12 months in French small oak barrels. A wine capturing the crisp, mineral-driven style of Friuli whites.
