Hailing from Umbria, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Sangiovese 90%, Malvasia 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect vibrant red-fruit notes and a refreshing, food-friendly finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards between 200 and 300 meters above sea level on sandstone, marl and sandy soils. Vinification: whole cluster pressing of Sangiovese grapes and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel with infusion of whole bunches of Malvasia for 2-3 weeks. The wine is aged some months in steel and concrete vats. A wine showing the elegant, structured style typical of Umbrian reds.
