A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Tazzelenghe 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Merlot 25%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Cividale del Friuli and Prepotto, facing South-East, at an altitude of 180-190 m. above sea level, on soils rich in clay. Vinification: fermentation in wooden vats with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 8 months in steel, 12 months in barrique, 48 months in large oak barrels and at least 12 months in bottle. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
Friuli Venezia Giulia is celebrated as one of Italy's premier white wine regions.
