A fine example of Veneto winemaking, this Valpolicella Ripasso DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Corvina 60%, Corvinone 15%, Rondinella 15%, other red grapes 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in the high hills, in the locality of Torbe, at 300-420 meters above sea level with south-east exposure on Eocene marl soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for 10 days. Review on Amarone marc and malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels. The wine is aged almost 9 months in wood barrels. A wine showing the technical precision Veneto producers are known for.
From Lake Garda to the Dolomites, Veneto's varied geography offers microclimates suited to many different styles.
