A fine example of Veneto winemaking, this Valpolicella Ripasso DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Val di Mezzane from the Adalia vineyard located at an altitude of 250-300 metres on limestone matrix soils with south-west exposure with a double pergola training system from vines planted in 1997. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel and review on Amarone skins for 7-10 days. The wine is aged 18 months in oak wood barrels of 25 hl. A wine reflecting the varied microclimates between Lake Garda and the Dolomites.
Veneto masterfully balances tradition and innovation, producing everything from powerful Amarone to crisp Soave.
