This Valpolicella Ripasso DOC captures the distinctive personality of Veneto terroir. With 12.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Corvina 70%, Merlot 30% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 15-25 year old vines on terraces at 150-450 meters above sea level with south and south-west exposure on silt-clayey soils, with limestone tracts. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel vats. The wine is aged a few years in large oak barrels. A wine embodying Veneto's winemaking heritage with fresh acidity and food-friendly character.
