This Valpolicella Ripasso DOC captures the distinctive personality of Veneto terroir. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Corvina 50%, Corvinone 20%, Rondinella 20% and other red grapes 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards raised using the simple Trentino pergola system on soil consisting of red and brown clays and limestone. Vinification: fermentation on the skins with indigenous yeasts for 10-15 days and maceration on the skins of Amarone. The wine is aged 24 months in oak wood barrels. A wine reflecting the varied microclimates between Lake Garda and the Dolomites.
From Lake Garda to the Dolomites, Veneto's varied geography offers microclimates suited to many different styles.
