This exceptional Trentino DOC showcases the authentic character of Trentino. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Merlot 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivated according to guyot and pergola trentina system in a sandy soil at 280 metres above sea level in Sorni and Gardolo, faced to West and South-West. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, cold settling for about 48 hours and malolactic fermentation in concrete vats. The wine is aged 6 months on the lees in concrete vats and, for the 10%, in old French oak barrels. A wine true to Trentino's tradition of elegant, food-friendly wines.
