Produced in Umbria, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its 18% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Grechetto 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivated according to the Guyot system in a hilly soil at 220 m above sea level. Organic and biodynamic farming. Vinification: maceration on the skins for 6 hours in steel tanks, soft pressing and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Without filtrations. The wine is aged 6 months on the lees in steel vats. A wine showing the elegant, structured style typical of Umbrian reds.
Umbria is home to Sagrantino di Montefalco, one of Italy's most tannic and age-worthy reds.
